3. Location Information

LimLuxe uses location data to show pickup locations, match riders and drivers, display trip progress, support in-app navigation for drivers, and allow riders to view the driver’s location during accepted or active trips. Driver location is shared with the rider only after a trip or booking has been accepted and until the trip is completed or cancelled.

After a trip or booking is completed or cancelled, live driver location sharing is stopped.

4. Payment Information

LimLuxe does not store full credit card numbers, CVC codes, or raw card details. Payment information is processed by a third-party payment processor. LimLuxe may store payment method identifiers, customer identifiers, payment intent identifiers, and limited card information such as the card brand and last four digits.

5. How We Use Information

LimLuxe uses the information we collect to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the LimLuxe app and LimLuxe Drivers app.

We use information to:

Create and manage rider and driver accounts.

Verify account information and help protect against fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access.

Allow riders to request trips, schedule bookings, choose pickup and drop-off locations, and view ride progress.

Allow drivers to receive trip requests, accept bookings, navigate to pickup and drop-off locations, complete trips, and manage vehicles and documents.

Match riders with nearby available drivers.

Display driver location to the rider during accepted and active trips or bookings.

Calculate estimated fares, process payments, capture final ride charges, and support tips.

Store and display completed trip, booking, payment, and earnings history.

Send important notifications about trips, bookings, driver arrival, trip progress, cancellations, payment status, and account activity.

Provide customer support, respond to questions, and resolve disputes.

Maintain safety, security, and service reliability.

Comply with legal, tax, insurance, payment, and regulatory obligations.

We do not use personal information to sell user data.

6. How We Share Information

LimLuxe may share information only as needed to operate the service, process payments, support users, comply with the law, or protect the safety and security of riders, drivers, and the LimLuxe platform.

We may share information with:

Riders and drivers: Riders and drivers may receive limited information about each other after a trip or booking is accepted, such as name, profile photo, vehicle information, trip status, pickup/drop-off information, and live driver location during the trip.

Payment processors: We use Stripe to process payments, save payment methods, create payment holds, capture final fares, and process tips. LimLuxe does not store full card numbers, CVC codes, or raw card information.

Firebase and Google services: We use Firebase and Google services for authentication, database storage, backend functions, push notifications, app infrastructure, and maps/location services.

Apple platform services: Apple may process certain information related to app distribution, push notifications, App Store features, and device-level services.

Service providers: We may share information with vendors that help us operate, secure, host, maintain, or improve the app.

Legal and safety purposes: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, safety investigation, fraud prevention, insurance claim, dispute resolution, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LimLuxe, users, or others.

We do not sell personal information.

7. Driver and Rider Location Sharing

LimLuxe uses location information to provide core ride and booking features.

For riders, location may be used to help set pickup locations, show the rider’s current position on the map, estimate routes, and display trip progress.

For drivers, location may be used to show driver availability, match drivers with nearby ride or booking requests, provide in-app navigation, calculate trip progress, and share the driver’s location with the rider during an accepted or active trip.

Driver live location is shared with the rider only when a trip or booking has been accepted and is in progress, including while the driver is traveling to the pickup location and during the active trip. Driver live location sharing ends when the trip or booking is completed, cancelled, or otherwise ended.

LimLuxe does not show a driver’s live location to a rider before the driver accepts a trip or booking, and it does not continue sharing live driver location with the rider after the trip or booking has ended.

Users can control device location permissions through iOS Settings. Some LimLuxe features may not work correctly if location permissions are disabled.

8. Chat and Communications

LimLuxe may provide messaging or chat features so riders and drivers can communicate about accepted trips or bookings.

Chat messages may include text entered by the rider or driver. These messages may be stored so the app can display conversation history, support trip coordination, help with customer support, and assist with safety, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention.

LimLuxe may also send service-related communications, including push notifications, emails, or in-app messages about account activity, trip requests, bookings, cancellations, driver arrival, trip progress, payments, tips, support, and important service updates.

Users can manage push notification permissions through iOS Settings. Some important service notifications may be necessary for the app to work properly.

9. Data Retention

LimLuxe keeps personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, process payments, support users, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

Account information is generally kept while the account is active.

Trip, booking, payment, driver earnings, vehicle, document, support, and safety-related records may be kept for longer when needed for legal, tax, insurance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, payment processing, safety, or regulatory purposes.

If a user deletes their account or requests deletion, LimLuxe will delete or de-identify personal information where required, unless we need to keep certain records for legitimate legal, tax, safety, payment, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or business recordkeeping reasons.

10. Account Deletion and Privacy Choices

Users may request account deletion by contacting LimLuxe support at support@limluxe.com.

When an account deletion request is processed, LimLuxe will delete or de-identify account information where required. Some information may be retained when necessary for legal, tax, payment, insurance, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, or regulatory reasons.

Users may also control certain privacy choices through their device settings, including:

Location permissions.

Camera and photo library permissions.

Push notification permissions.

Users may contact LimLuxe at support@limluxe.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and verification requirements.

11. Security

LimLuxe uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information.

These safeguards may include encrypted network connections, server-side payment processing, and limited access to sensitive information.

Payment information is processed by Stripe. LimLuxe does not store full credit card numbers, CVC codes, or raw card details.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While LimLuxe works to protect user information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure and should contact LimLuxe immediately if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.

12. Children’s Privacy

LimLuxe is not intended for children under 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

13. Changes to This Policy

LimLuxe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make changes, we may update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, email, or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of LimLuxe after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
